If you have not read all about the New Rite Aid Plenti Rewards Program, you won’t want to miss our post: New Rite Aid Wellness+ Plenti Rewards Program: Just Like +UPs, ONLY BETTER! to see the exciting changes we have coming!
When we did that post, there were still a few unanswered questions. So we went right to corporate to get you some answers! At the bottom of this post you can see my entire chat with corporate customer service about some of the aspects of the Plenti Program that were not explained well in the brochures!
Here is what I found out:
Q. Will Plenti Points Roll like +UP’s did, meaning if you pay with points will you still get points back?
A. YES! The points WILL roll! If you pay with points you will still get points back on your purchase!
Q. If I have over $2 in points and I make a purchase of an amount under the amount of my points, can I pay for my whole purchase with points for a zero balance on my transaction including the tax?
A. YES! If you have over $2 in points you can redeem for them any amount. They are a form of tender so it even pays for the tax!
*FYI: You can only redeem Plenti Points when you have a minimum of $2 in points to redeem.
UPDATED: More information given outside of the conversation pasted below!!
Q. How will it work if you are out of stock of an item with Plenti Points attached to it?
A. While we are unable to rain check the Plenti Points themselves at this time (you will not receive the points themselves at a later date), a rain check will be given for the item with the price being modified to account for the Plenti Points just like +UPs were done. For example if you have Tide on sale for $8.99 with $1.00 in Plenti Points, the rain check will be written for $8.99 plus they will say it had 100 Plenti Points attached to it (or they will just write the price in of what the product would have been after points) so when you redeem the rain check you will actually get the item for $7.99 to account for those points. They will just give you the price of the item for what it would have been after taking the Plenti Points into consideration.
Q. Will I receive a Plenti Card in the mail?
A. Silver and Gold Wellness Members will receive a Plenti Card with a Welcome Guide in the mail. Then you will just need to complete the online portion for the sign up and not have to do anything in store. The websites for completing the sign up process will not be up and running until May 4th which is when we will be able to finish up the sign up. You will receive an email with your link to complete it after you sign up for Plenti with your email. Members that have not reached Silver or Gold Status will sign up in store, however sign ups in store are being delayed at this time for regular Wellness+ Members. They are holding off until the Plenti sites are open so people can complete the sign up process right away unlesss you are a new Wellness+ Member, or a Gold or Silver Member. All members will complete the sign up process online at home, or you can also sign up at riteaid.com/Plenti, Plenti.com or the Plenti Mobile App on May 4th when the program is live. Also, if you receive your card in the mail because you are a Silver or Gold Wellness Member, make sure you take your card into the store so it can be linked to your Wellness Account so all of your points will transfer over!
I can’t wait for this to go live and see it with my own eyes! This is definitely awesome news for us couponers! 🙂
